I do hope they really reassess the current system as it is and make it more.. interesting..

For instance like what some people would voice out in game..
the auction houses.. or the ability to vend in town.. etc

Sure, trade related. but right now it is such a pain to sell anything really.. and trade definitely is a fundermental component of gameplay (that is if you intend to actually achieve SOMETHING rather than just wear collector's day in and day out)

Since the manual makes it look like the gods of Tyria are only the gods of Tyria, Cantha would have different gods, cultures, creatures and classes. Possibly different 'magic' since the manual says the gods gave magic to Tyria.

My theory is that the gods seperated into groups and each group created a continent. Tyria came from one group and Cantha came from another. The third group created a continent where the original humans were, but were kicked out and fled to Tyria and Cantha. That third continent would be 'alluded' to in Cantha/Chapter 2 and would be in Chapter 3. We'd find out more about the gods eventually and we'd get to visit their lands. That's just my theory though.
well...not really. if you talk to to the woman in lions then you will find she says cantha is pretty much left of the desert, south of kryta.

Well, the north is cold and the south is warm, that leaves at least further south if their world is based on a hot equator without any map style trouble.

We have hexes and conditions now, I'm not sure what they'd call them or how they'd stack but I'd bet they add another category of persistent afflictions that need to be removed.

PvP I imagine they'll introduce random 6v6 at the least and some other style of Tombs/HoH where teams will compete for some reward be it riches or whatever.

I'm absolutely bored with places like Sorrows and while I hope they have a lot like that for those that like it I'd love to see some very very hard single mob encounters like the one for Glint but without the easy solution.

Maybe a couple double sized adventures. 16 man instead of 8 and a LOT harder requiring team work just to stand a chance of winning.

I'm also a big fan of dungeons, or any place that has some real atmosphere. A haunted house or Tower, a string of caves or something like the Catacombs, a large infested pirate ship to explore or something along those lines.

I hate it just hate it...... zoommmm rogues teleporting... rogues making themselves invisible.... :S:S:S.... The only acceptable reasons why they should have teleport is if they get them Shadow magic..... and by no means they should have 100% invisivility... thats not how stealth works.... If they should get rogues with tele and invi... Then they should also give the standart wizards the skills invisivility and teleport which are arcane spells..... If they get into the game the rogues, i hope they just dont mess it up by making any of the existing classes (ranger)rather useless.... Just think about it, traps are originally form rogues, the use of poison and that kind of trinkets such as explosions are also from rogues. I hope they dont give the rogue a bow... let them stick to the dagger...... if a rogue is conceived then i hope they just dont overpower it.
Classes such as a druid, a summoner, a doppleganger, or the sage mentioned before would be rather cool.. The sage might have an area of skills called precognition skills... which by the power of visions he can fortell the enemies next couple of actions and gain benefits from it such as armor or he can detect weak points so as to deal more dmg...... Thoo sages might get in the way of monks. Or they just can conceive a completely new class such as they dd with mesmer (thoo they are like a monk sub-debuffing class)....
For the one who asked YESSSS there are WOMEN DWARVES... they are on the Lineage 2 game... and they have kinda a cool inocent sexy thing going on lol.....

16 man teams...I like it. What I think would be cool are huge battles of random people. I know this kind of wouldn't work..but still fun .

OH ohhh. and this game desperately needs some 1v1 (this may seem unfair, but if you know who your battling you can easily change your build to counter anything) duelling stuff. or 2v2, or 8v8...I mean, in guild halls (and possibly another arena with this sort of thing?) if some people want to test their builds counters or the guild wants to practice. Oh, and it would settle many arguments in the guild , and inguild tournaments. Oh and did I mention betting ?

personally i would rather see a bananaman class than bloody rogues and assassins. i will be dissapointed if they have to resort to those classes.

remember that they have alluded to new race/s. if this is true then i think it highly likely that the new classes will be for this new race. similar in function to the present classes but with different skills and abilities.

necromancer equivalent is a druid with the ability to call up the earth itself in their aid.

and so on. i have a very limited imagination.

Heh, I can't wait until it's revealed a samurai class will never happen,
crushing the fragile hopes of the little Japanophiles everywhere.

It's been done, but I wouldn't mind a merchant class or the like.

a merchant would be just as useless as a samurai.what will you do? scare people to death with your trading skills!?! seriously, i would rather have them put the old over-used classes(rogues/assasins) than a totally useless class like a merchant.

I guees a class such as the dwarves on lineage wouldnt be a bad choice... They might be the only one to be able to craft certain items... and so forth they would be the kings of economy.....

Cantha is just a nation [like ascalon and kryta] but it is technically still part of Tyria as it connects to the Crystal desert. By the NPC names, clothing and names, I would say they have a Eurasian type culture.

Dwarves

Rage- After a certien amount of adrenaline is earned, the player has 2-32
seconds of 40% faster attack and an added 1-15 dmg. [NATIVE]

This helps counter the slow attack speed, due the dwarves only using hammers

Assasin
Stealth- Each point lowers your aggro bubble by .5 and after recieving x amount of damage, the player has a 33% to avoid melee dmg and 50% to avoid arrows and projectiles from players and spells. [NATIVE]

I hope new races aren't introduced as playable races. After every single other MMORPG, what's the point to it anymore?

Look people, if you want to have Ninjas and Pirates, then watch this film.

But I don't want to have them in GW. The idea of a light melee unit has some appeal tough - some kind of dashing swashbuckler/musketeer (without the musket though, more like in the books) with light weapons like rapiers and daggers. A good primary would be fast attack, which increases the attack speed with fencing weapons. The class wouldn't have the best armor (he's not a tank) but a lot of agility related skills to dodge and parry attacks and spells. Ohh, Dual Wield would be nice for him too (rapier in one hand, dagger in the other).

I hope they put level limit on entrance to cities like Droknar. If you are a low level pancake that wants highest armor to impress girls, STAY OUT. One should NOT be there prior level 20. I'm tired of it. Same should be done for weapons and items. While there're requirements, they don't do much. Get a maxed out req. 8/9 weapon and you could use it when you are pretty much low level. Put something like.. lvl 13 required to use this weapon. That way people will at least put some effort into gaining something instead of buying everything maxed out and calling it a day. Where's the fun?

I am talking about being Level 13 or whatever other level. I'm not talking about attributes, I'm talking about the actual character level. If there's an item found somewhere at the end of the game, why should a level 9 or whatever still playing in Ascalon, be able to use it? One should experience and gain something oneself, instead of just buy it from someone else an go mindlessly slashing everything around.
